About me!
Sadie, Sadie

Hi, I’m Sadie! I’m originally from Hartford, CT, and now based in New York City. I graduated summa cum laude from Elon University with a B.A. in Music Performance (Voice), and I’m currently pursuing my Master of Music in Vocal Arts at Manhattan School of Music, where I was selected to perform in the American Songbook Cabaret this upcoming semester.

I’ve performed in regional theatre, opera chorus, and cabaret, with credits including Fiddler on the Roof, Mystic Pizza, and Oklahoma! at the Barn Theatre, work with Barrington Stage Company, and performances in Italy with Compagnia d’Opera Italiana di Firenze, including La Traviata under conductor Cristiano Manzoni.

In addition to performing, I work as a music director, arranger, educator, music theory and aural skills tutor, voice teacher, and choreographer, recently serving as assistant music director for Legally Blonde, music director for A Year with Frog and Toad at Elon University, and choreographer for Seussical KIDS at Hartford Stage.

I’ve also served as the soloist for Elon’s Commencement ceremonies and music director of the Shirley Tempos a cappella group. In recognition of my academic achievements, I was honored with the prestigious Effie Mae Wicker Johnston Scholarship at Elon University.

In addition to my work on stage, I’m a writer with experience spanning fashion journalism, feature writing, and media content creation. I’ve served as a fashion writer for The Edge magazine, contributed to B’nai Shalom Day School’s publications, and maintain an evolving writing portfolio.

Outside of performing, you can usually find me baking something sweet, at hot yoga, or exploring NYC coffee shops — also, you may spot me on the retail floors at Free People and Aerie!

Xoxo,

Sadie
