Sadie, Sadie
I'm sure you can fill in the rest of the lyrics, although I'm not married.
Hi, my name is Sadie! I am a Hartford/NYC based actor and current Senior at Elon University studying Music Performance (Voice) with minors in Communications and Dance.

Spotted: Sadie wearing her signature messy bun, athletic wear, and white sneakers.
Aside from my passion for fashion and affinity for the TV show Gossip Girl, music has always been a significant part of my life. From a young age, I found joy in singing and creating songs, even if it meant occasionally annoying my younger brother. For as long as I can remember, musical theatre has given me the platform to be creative and challenged. Through performing, I can entertain an audience and make a positive statement, while digging deeper to understand who I am. It began on my 10th birthday when I was given an Elphaba hat and tickets to Wicked on Broadway. The show instantly became and remains, my favorite because of its message about friendship, resilience, and the power of being unique. My commitment and drive make me unstoppable to attain my dreams and performing on stage give me the confidence to believe that I can do anything.

With a background in classical voice and proficiency in languages such as Spanish, Italian, German, French, and English, I have established a strong foundation to explore a wide range of musical theatre and pop repertoire. My enthusiasm for learning is reflected in my academic pursuits, and I am thrilled to serve as a music theory tutor, sharing my kindness, patience, and determination to help students excel. In recognition of my academic achievements, I was honored with the Effie Mae Wicker Johnston Scholarship at Elon University.

In my free time, I am the music director for the Shirley Tempos, an all-female a cappella group at Elon. As the music director, my responsibilities include conducting rehearsals, leading warm-up sessions, creating arrangements, and ensuring that we are fully prepared for performances. Additionally, I had the privilege of being selected as a fashion writer for Elon's Magazine, where I contributed to the spring print issue. Outside of my roles on campus, I enjoy baking, practicing hot yoga, visiting my family, and walking my Bichon Shih Tzu dog, Topanga, whenever I am in town.

Xoxo,
Sadie
